Which Shower Seal?

Shower Seals are used for horizontal and vertical application to unframed and framed glass. Shower seals are used to waterproof gaps between glass shower panels, bath rims, tiled surfaces and shower trays.

Usually, you can locate the correct seal by selecting like for like from our product images. Don’t forget to check the dimensions when viewing a shower seal model. The most common application is for over bath screens. The tables below can be used to locate the correct seal. Simply measure the gap between the exposed glass edge of the screen and the bath rim.

TIP: Most 4-6mm seals are suitable for curved glass. You may need to soften these in some warm bath water before application.

All seals listed above push directly onto glass rather than sliding on from the end.

Framed Screens and shower doors. Measure the recess or slot in the screen frame. Choose a model from our Folding Seals Category.

TIP: You can also consider using a seal from the 10mm or 12mm categories to clip over the frame.

Pivot or hinged type shower doors.

For this type of enclosure, it isn’t always necessary or helpful to seal the gap between the glass and shower tray. Too much friction can cause the door to get stuck and catch the ground or shower tray.

Shower Seal D3 is commonly used as it deflects water back into the enclosure without sealing the gap.
